Rene Moran

Rene Moran is the oldest of three siblings and the proud son of working class parents. He was born in El Salvador, but at the age of one, he and his family fled to Los Angeles to escape the enduring realities of a civil war. Three short years later, they would relocate to Orlando, Florida, where he spent his formative years, all the while being nourished by rich Caribbean culture. At 20, with no purpose, no plans and little education, Rene found himself restless and without direction. His mother convinced him to take a chance & move to Los Angeles with the hope of discovering a renewed since of life. With nothing to lose, he packed a bag and headed west. His first years in California provided the journey of self-discovery that Rene desperately needed. Eventually, he found a job within the entertainment industry answering phones for talent agents, managers, entertainment attorneys & casting directors. This environment exposed Rene to the exciting business of entertainment which ultimately lead him to the world of acting. He took full advantage of every new opportunity landing a few small roles in independent films and later booking five national commercials. Rene realized that he wanted a stronger foundation in his craft, so he dove into acting classes. This naturally lead to even greater opportunities for him.
